Getting from Koh Kut Pier to Don Mueang Airport
A Thai Go private transfer from the Laem Sok pier to Don Mueang Airport covers about 360 km and takes roughly 5.5 hours. Don Mueang sits north of Bangkok, so the drive from the east of the country is longer than to Suvarnabhumi. The driver meets you at the pier and takes you straight to your departure terminal.
Route and travel time
From Laem Sok to Don Mueang is about 360 km: through Trat, Chanthaburi, Rayong and Chonburi on Route 3, then Motorway 7 and the Kanchanaphisek ring road around central Bangkok. The drive takes roughly 5.5 hours, longer in the evening peak.
The driver waits at the pier with a name sign and helps with the luggage. The car pulls up at your terminal and tolls are included in the booking price.
Planning around your flight
It is a long chain: the transfer to the pier on Koh Kood, an hour to an hour and a half on the boat, then 5.5 hours across the mainland. From your island hotel to the Don Mueang check-in desk, allow at least 8–9 hours.
Don Mueang is mostly low-cost carriers, and they are strict about desk closing times. A margin matters more here than on a regular ticket: being late usually means buying a new one.
Give us your flight number at booking — we will plan the pickup around the boat, the drive and the traffic on the northern approach to Bangkok, so that you reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
Why not a bus or a taxi at the pier
There is no direct link from Trat to Don Mueang: the bus arrives at Ekkamai and from there the northern airport is another hour or more across the city. Two interchanges with luggage before a flight.
Taxis at the pier take cash by verbal agreement and are reluctant to drive to the northern airport. Neither the price nor the timing is guaranteed.
A Thai Go transfer is a flat per-car fare: from ฿4,150 for a Comfort car seating up to 3 and from ฿4,850 for a Minibus seating up to 9.
