Getting from Don Mueang Airport to Koh Kut Pier
A Thai Go private transfer from Don Mueang Airport to the Laem Sok pier covers about 360 km and takes roughly 5.5 hours. Don Mueang sits north of Bangkok, so the drive east is longer than from Suvarnabhumi. The driver meets you in arrivals; the boat ticket to Koh Kood is bought separately.
Route and travel time
From Don Mueang to Laem Sok is about 360 km. The car skirts central Bangkok on the Kanchanaphisek ring road, joins Motorway 7 and continues on Route 3 through Chonburi, Rayong and Chanthaburi to Trat, with a final 20 km south to the pier.
The drive takes roughly 5.5 hours, longer at rush hour on the way out of the capital. The fare is locked at booking, tolls are included and there is no night surcharge.
Meeting you at the airport
Don Mueang mostly handles low-cost and domestic flights and the terminals get crowded. The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign — no hunting for operator desks, no walking off somewhere else.

Why not a bus or a shared minibus
There is no direct service from Don Mueang to Trat at all: first a bus or taxi to Ekkamai across the whole of Bangkok, then 5–6 hours to Trat, then a songthaew to the pier. Three changes with luggage straight after a flight.
