Getting from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Koh Kut Pier
A Thai Go private transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the Laem Sok pier covers about 330 km and takes roughly 5 hours. The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drives you straight to the pier where the Koh Kood boats leave. The boat ticket is bought separately.
Route and travel time
From Suvarnabhumi to Laem Sok is about 330 km: Motorway 7 towards Chonburi, then Route 3 (Sukhumvit) through Rayong and Chanthaburi to Trat, and a final 20 km south to the pier. The drive takes roughly 5 hours.
The fare is locked at booking and does not depend on the time of day, the season or the number of passengers. Tolls and fuel are included, and there is no night surcharge.
Meeting you at the airport
The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing the name from your booking. We track the flight by the number you give us: if it is delayed the pickup moves automatically, and the first 2 hours after landing are included.
It is a long drive, so it is planned around the boat timetable. Most sailings to Koh Kood leave in the first half of the day and the crossing takes an hour to an hour and a half — for a daytime boat you want to land in the morning or early afternoon.
If your flight arrives in the evening, driving through the night to a closed pier makes little sense: it is easier to overnight in Trat and take the first boat out. We will help you line the timings up at booking.
Why not a bus or an airport taxi
There is no direct transport from Suvarnabhumi to the pier: you would need to reach a bus terminal, wait for a Trat service, ride 5–6 hours and then find a songthaew to Laem Sok. After a flight that is a whole day on the road.
